Physiological Reactivity and Family Triangles

There is a little time this morning to add that this is a presentation I’m working on for Symposium, with the help of Toni Ziegler in analyzing the measures of physiological reactions (EMG, DST, and EDR) in 3 family triangles. This is the same family. Mother and Father and each of 3 children. The Powerpoint describes the protocol. Toni has analyzed the data for each triangle and graphed them for each physiological measure. She will join me at Symposium to describe the analysis and her understanding of the outcome. One “surprise” was that parents and child 3 are the most anxious triangle and the most “involved child.” This could serve as a predictor for her future inability to leave home. It is important that no one measure captured the levels of anxiety, but the combination of measures is an important protocol. I look forward to any questions this can stir for you.
